LifeScan provides training in limited obstetrical ultrasound studies for medical professionals. Our friendly staff members are registered diagnostic medical sonographers (RDMS) and have experience in developing customized training programs which target the specific needs of pregnancy help centers. We provide foundational ultrasound education such as basic physics, instrumentation, anatomy, scanning techniques and protocols. We also provide private hands-on training to aid in developing the didactic scanning skills necessary to perform independent scans with confidence.

Training Environment

All training is conducted in a relaxed, clinical environment utilizing real-time sonographic 2-D imaging systems. Students are presented with real-world case studies and scan actual patients. After the initial training has been completed, LifeScan provides ongoing support via a suite of comprehensive reference materials including training manuals, online testing, and web based support.
